This is an online tool you can use when you want to track any tags. This tool gives you the information and ability to tag track. Any information you need for tag tracking is actually available via Google, but the Raven GA Config Tool takes the efforts and fuss out of the process. It does it by simplify the process and turning it into a few basic settings.
4 – Performance Dashboards Excel
You are probably aware that you can download data from Google Analytics and have it compiled upon an Excel sheet. This tool allows you to do the same, but gives you options on how the downloaded data is displayed.
5 – Manage Profile Annotation
We all have to annotate our scripts at some point. This tool allows you to manage your annotate via a Firefox extension. You can manage your profile annotations if you use it as an extension for the FireFox plugin Greasemonkey. It allows you to copy and paste any annotations. Which includes allowing you to export and import annotations within Google Analytics.
6 – Http Fox
This is a debugging tool that allows you to analyze any interaction between your server and your site. You can see the information that is sent and received, and will allow you to debug the information. You can use the tool to see what information is being sent, and therefore monitor what Google Analytics is picking up on. If you are not able to gain access to your source code for certain web elements then you may find that is useful.
7 – Firebug
When you are running your analytic campaigns, you can add and remove tracking code with this tool. It is a Firefox extension where you can check the source code of a page with just one click. It is convenient if you have a lot of pages that you need to track at one time. You can also look at the code of widgets and buttons and copy it. It is handy for copying elements from whatever page you are looking at (great for stealing other people’s code).
8 – Fire cookie
Here is another FireFox plugin, and this one is an extension of the Firebug plug-in. Many websites have cookies. With the Firebug plugin allowing you to see source code with one click, you can then go one-step further and tamper with cookie information too. It allows you to view your cookies analytics too. This is useful if you want to make sure that the cookies on your computer were placed there by Google Analytics. You can delete any other cookies quickly, which is better than using your desktop tools, as they will delete all of the cookies including Google’s cookies.
9 – Excellent Analytics
This is a plugin for the Excel report sheet that you download from Google Analytics. You can construct a dashboard within the Excel sheet and put it on the back of your previously/currently used templates. The plugin gives automatic updates so that you do not have to keep downloading the information automatically. You can set it to download an update automatically every week.
10 – Copy Goal
This is a Google Chrome extension. You can copy analytics goals and can copy filters too. You may copy them from one account to another. This can be done via a Firefox plugin but they have not yet created a plugin that is compatible with all five Google Analytics version.
