If everybody is using individual cars, then this will up the CO2 created in order to get to the event, not the message you want to send if you’re aiming for a sustainable event.
So, try to ensure that everybody that is invited to the meeting can get there via public transport or that carpools are set up. Alternatively, if the budget stretches, you could opt for people to travel to these events using hybrid hired cars.
